Funding
The funding for the collaborative mainly comes from the local authority. However as part of plans to expand and develop a rich activities environment for children, their families and the schools.
To ensure that we are able to achieve this we have drawn up plans to identify resources and funding from various sources to do this. This includes looking at -
- Local Businesses, who share an interest in our work and are keen to support what we do.
- Charitable Trusts:- There are a various number of trust that support the work we want to do and this includes the likes of the National Lottery. They like to see us do things that makes the lives of people better, for example -
- The environment making your community safer to play and work in.
- Helping people from different ethnic and religious backgrounds to work with each other and better understanding of each others cultures.
- Those people who are not well off and economically struggling, are given chances in life to succeed.
Recently we have been awarded some funding to help those children and families who are struggling economically to access clubs and holiday activities because they cannot afford to do so. If you attend a school in our collaborative and want to find out more how this money can help you, then please contact the school. This funding stream is known as the Disadvantage Fund.
We shall through this website, newsletters and letters keep you informed about such important intiaitives and how you can be involved in them.
