On behalf of everyone at Brookside, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Collaborative for all their support both financial and practical in making the parent zone a reality.

In these early days in temporary accommodation we can already see the potential impact on our
community. We have been over whelmed by the support for our initial events with standing room only at Parents Meetings and Class Assemblies.

Our Drop in centre has been very popular and we have been able to sort out lots of queries and address issues before they become real concerns.

Teachers commented following Open Evening on the positive relationships we had established with our parents.

Our Parent Zone Co-ordinator has worked tirelessly establishing links with the local community and providing opportunities for parents to access courses, Parents and Toddlers,as well as meeting informally for a chat.

We are so excited about the prospect of our New Parent Zone where we will be able to offer so much more!
