A welcome note from
Steve Foot (Head) - Minet Junior School
Chair of our Collaborative

We are a network of seven schools of schools, Guru Nanak Sikh (VA) Secondary
Guru Nanak Sikh (VA) Primary, Brookside Primary, Dr Triplett’s C of E School,
The Willows School, and Minet Junior and Infant Schools, collaborating and working together in a true partnership to offer the best for our children through Extended Schools club actvities.

Funding is being effectively used by all schools to support inclusion and community
activities. Our steering group made up of heads and teachers from our schools is totally committed to providing opportunities to families in our community
– term time, weekends and during school holidays. This also includes the development of an adult learning programme for parents and their families in their communities.

The collaborative has already purchased a minibus – all schools have access to this and are using it as and when required. A number of school events have been run – these include
family arts and crafts and a cookery morning.

The minibus has been used for games and enrichment activities. Funding through the collaborative has been used to further support the inclusion of pupils in a range of
activities. We have also used funding to develop our Breakfast Club
and we aim to develop a Year 6 Youth Club.

Throughout this site you will find information about the full extent of our work and what we do. This we hope will sign post and help you get more from us and our Extended Schools work.
